About the Grateful American Book Series
The Grateful American Foundation was founded in 2014 to restore enthusiasm about American history for kids — and adults – via videos and podcasts. Abigail & John is the inaugural book in the series, which will focus on presidential and historical marriages that influenced the nation.

About the Illustrator
Clarice Smith has been painting professionally more than 40 years, and has had numerous solo exhibitions in prestigious galleries throughout the United States, Europe, and Israel. Known as an artist who responds clearly and absolutely to her own surroundings, she creates a world through paint that is tangible and distant; familiar yet mysterious.
